The Hunger Games

How many of you have read: The Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins? It's suspenseful and action-packed, but still has some romance. Every year there is a boy and girl tribute picked for the hunger games, one from each district. They are forced to compete in the games to the death. 24 contestants must survive. There is only one winner. Katniss Everdeen is one of the tributes and now she will be forced to fight for her life.
Now, for all you fans out there the movie is coming out March 23! Check out the trailer.

  1. I love the Hunger Games! I am really excited for the movie because it seems like (from the trailer at least) the movie will actually be rather good. It seems like for most great books that turned into movies, the movies never really live up to the book, but this one looks like it might be an exception.

    1. When I heard that they were going to try and follow up the Hunger Games with a movie I knew instantly that it would be either amazing or fall short. The trailer intrigued me as well, I can't wait to see it come out in theaters. Hopefully we'll all be impressed with the director's work.

  3. I agree, I think she'll be great! Although, after seeing the trailers it's hard to tell it's her! In the movie she's so dark haired, olive skinned, dark eyed, thin faced. It's not like her at all!

  4. This is my favorite book I have ever read. The only thing I didn't like about the movie was that it didn't include everything from the book, like the Avox and how Madge gave Katniss the pin. Even though they didn't include everything I stilled loved the movie and thought that they did the best they could have done on it. Although the movie was amazing, I did like the book more, just because there is much more description.
